Administration

The student union of the Catholic university community Aachen is a charitable association that acts as the legal entity supporting the different facilities. The association is controlled by its board and members' assembly.

The student union administration can be reached in Pontstraße 74-76 and is the point of contact for all facilities.

The history

The student union of the catholic university community Aachen became a registered association in June 1953. That was quite a long time ago. Over the decades, we have worked for many generations of students - with special challenges for every era.

Our main desire has remained the same across the years, however: We want to support students at the universities of Aachen, and give them space to feel at home in Aachen. We want to ensure a basis for successful studying and be a place and centre for the community and friendship.

Our association acts as the legal entity for the dorms, the student centre and the holiday home. The board of directors and the members' assembly determine the duration of the association; our four administrators support and take care of the facilities.
